Scrubber systems are a diverse group of air pollution control devices that can be used to remove some particulates and/or gasses from industrial exhaust streams.
Power plants, steel mills, pharmaceutical producers, food manufacturers, chemical producers and other industrial companies often use baghouses to control emission of air pollutants. Unlike electrostatic precipitators, where performance may vary significantly depending on the process and electrical conditions, functioning baghouses typically have a particulate collection efficiency of 99% or better, even when the particle size is very small. Controlled Environments for Industry will help ensure that you meet the requirements of all regulations, maintain a safe and healthy workplace, and reduce your environmental footprint to better sustain the earth for future generations. Optromix Company manufacture, design, install and maintain systems for controlling the industrial environment- the new effective way of wet air scrubbing.
Polluted gas passes through the dispersing grating upwards to produce a spatial field of multiple micro turbulence vortices. Cleaning liquid falls free over this field. Microturbulence disperses liquid to the “fluidized bed” with a cleaning effect. After gas cleaning process the polluted liquid could be used for cleaning repeatedly.
Wet scrubbing systems are susceptible to several operating problems, especially if the pressure differential, liquid flow, and gas flow are not kept relatively constant. Common problems include low gas flow rate; low liquid flow rate; condensation of aerosols in the system; poor liquid distribution; use of the liquid with high pollutant concentration; tray/plate collapse; air leakage; pollutant re-entrainment; freezing/plugging of lines; and scaling.
Optromix presented Scroiler™– the new type of wet air scrubbers. It is devoid of much-wet air scrubber’s drawbacks while operating at the same efficiency. The reason is simple, the Scroiler™ is developed in the XXI century, while the common wet air scrubbers were developed in the XVIII-XX century and since then have not changed significantly. Scroiler™ can replace your wet air scrubber as a whole, and in some cases, we can use your old scrubber – primarily it’s body – as a basis for a Scroiler™ system. All our customers notice a significant reduction in operating costs and often a significant increase in gas treatment quality.
